We're women! We love beautiful things. But this necklace is about so much more. It's about our shared mission to thrive as women and to help others to do so. It's a physical reminder of the commitment that we have made to be a part of the Wise community and yes... it's beautiful too!
You will receive a high-quality 11x17 print of this poster, reminding you of our philosophy at Wise! Which is to D.A.N.C.E! Post it on your wall so that you can be reminded of the steps to success every day.
Plan it out and write it down! It's one of our top tools for success in everything that we teach at the Wise Women's Network.
Each 60-minute class will focus on a different WISE topic, and you will have access to the archived recordings for as long as you are a member of the Wise Women's Network.
We will revisit important topics in the future and are always open to requests from our members.
Every month we will have an open Q&A call where you can get answers to your specific challenges from a Wise Coach. The call will be as long or as brief as necessary to address your questions regarding the month's topic. The call will also allow you to have a chance to share your success stories and hear from other women in our community. The Q&A sessions will be recorded and archived for our members.
As a community, it is important that we have a place to gather – even if it's virtual. Our private Facebook Group will be a place to connect with other members, post questions and share wisdom. The group will be moder- ated on weekdays so that you can receive feedback if you need it.
And don't worry if you're not a "facebooker." We can give you instructions on how to be on the Wise community page without having anyone else know you're there (hint: it's all in the privacy settings!).
Kiva.org is a micro-lending organization whose mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. Kiva.org provides a platform for borrowers to fund their own businesses and is the perfect partner for us to deploy our collective resources so that we can help other women, around the world, thrive. *kiva.org is an outside organization – it is a coincidence that we share a name!
articles, success stories, inspiring transformations, videoThis is a community, and like any community to which you belong, it needs your voice. If you have a story you want to share, please send it to us. We will post it to the blog and you will have the opportunity to inspire many. What better way to thrive?
Because who doesn't love to save money! (If you don't you should sign up for moneyWISE! Saving isn't just not spending!!)
We are offering introductory pricing of $127 for a one- year membership up until our first tele-class in January! That is a $50 savings off of the future price. Come be WISE with us!!
One of our goals at Wise is to create a diverse community that shares different experi- ences, stories and perspectives. You can make this happen!
For an additional $65, you will pay for a woman who is currently in a women's shelter or involved in a program for lower- income women to join our community as a full member. You will make it possible for a woman to gain knowledge that will serve her for a lifetime and create new possibilities for herself, her family and her community.
Our Scholarship Partner:
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) - This federally funded program was established in 1990 to promote employment and increased assets for low-income families receiving federal rent subsidies or public housing.
During a five-year period, participants work individually with a case manager to set and pursue goals related to education, job training, money management, childcare and transportation. An important part of the FSS program is the escrow or savings account that grows as earned income increases. Many FSS families (the majority of which are single mothers) have used their escrow money to purchase a home, start a small business, pay off debt and save for retirement. FSS is one of the only asset-building federal programs available.
Coordinators with FSS will identify women in this program that would be true beneficiaries of joining our community. These are women who are working to break the cycle of poverty and change the way they think about money and their future. They are a vital part of our mission, and bring a breath and depth to the collective voice of Wise!
